The Richard Diebenkorn Foundation Archives are comprised of the personal and professional materials of Richard Diebenkorn. Collected over the course of the artist’s life, and preserved by his wife, Phyllis, the collection consists of photographs; correspondence; records and papers; object, museum, gallery and exhibition files; clippings, publications, books, auction and exhibition catalogues; audio and video materials; transcripts; ephemera and memorabilia.
Gifted in 2014, the Foundation is currently engaged in processing and preserving its collections. The Archives are currently closed to the public until the project is completed; however, qualified researchers may submit requests and/or contact our archivist for assistance.
